I worked out yesterday at the gym for 45 minutes. I do one gym workout a week. The rest of the week, I dance. I dance at least 3 nights a week, with one of those nights being a full night of West Coast Swing dancing. Usually non stop dancing. Usually sweating up a storm, and heartbeat racing into the 130-150 range.
But today, I woke up sore. Shoulders, neck, knees, calves. Sore.
Patty and I went for a walk this morning for about an hour. It should have loosened me up and made it easier to move. But this afternoon, I was tight. And sore.
I love the feeling of tight muscles.
I don’t like being sore.
