Dallas DANCE 2012 Swing Team: Generation Gap

Lisa D’Amico, 2nd Row:Malena, Angel, Julianne, Tyler, Brynn, Loliana, Kathryn. Back Row: Wayne, Ray, Clay, Harold, Jerry

We performed our Swing Team routine yesterday over the Labor Day weekend at Dallas DANCE.  We all worked so hard and had so much fun practicing and perfecting our dance.  Here’s a photo of us backstage just minutes before we danced Sunday night.

We call ourselves Generation Gap because we’ve got 7 Juniors dancing with 5  ‘Seniors’ and about a 40 year age gap.  So fun!

Lisa D’Amico did all the choreography and coaching.  She’s such an amazing person.  She has the vision and the patience to get us all to perform so well.

We danced a 1st place in our hearts, but we received 4th place in the scoring. Here’s our video. Our team performance begins at about the 8 minute mark, just wait until the commercial finishes then click on the timeline. (I had a big goof right at the end.. Shucks!!)
