Suzie Vinnick

One of many nice surprises at the Kerrville Folk Festival this year was Suzie Vinnick.  She was booked as part of the evening concert line up and I liked her music right off the bat.  Bluesy, soulful and a bit gritty, she sang strong and played strong. But when she sang ‘Save Me For Later’, I realized that, hey- wait a minute – I know her voice! I had heard her before, probably on Pandora and had put this exact song of hers in my Blues playlist.

She calls Ontario, Canada her home and travels extensively.  Go check her out sometime.  She’s a fabulous performer.

What a wonderful treat to get to hear an entire set from Suzie.  Here’s that song (from a YouTube video a few years back) and here’s her website too.
