Reading List: The Last Lion

I am truly enjoying The Last Lion, a biography about Winston Churchill covering the years of 1940-1965. There are so many parallels to our current state of world affairs.

In that regard, its easier to take a less emotional look at history compared to todays global news: political divide, strategic agendas, good versus evil, slaughter, rescue, secrecy and lies, propaganda, socialism, capitalism, geography, logistics, industry, charity, leadership, dictators, science, disease, war and peace, isolationism and allied powers.

Its all there, just like today….some 70+ years later.
