The Son by Philipp Meyer

I just finished another audio book: The Son by Philipp Meyer. It’s a New York Times bestselling epic of a Texas family starting off with a Comanche raid, taking 13 year old Eli McCullough captive. The story covers 4 generations of Texas life – a saga of land, blood, and power from the 1800s to the oil booms of the 20th century. It’s not pretty and its not clean but its definitely Texas.

Its a great historical novel and I’ll give it 5 out of 5 stars. *****

Give it a try!
